2 cute cards, featuring Spellbinders August 2019 GOM

Hello friends!  Today I’m sharing 2 cards to I created with the August 2019 Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month (GOM), called All Occasion Pennants.

This month, you get 5 pennant hot plates that have a different sentiment on them, as well as a coordinating die and a die for the stick/string.  You also get a roll of prism hot foil.

I also had some Spellbinders Die D-Lites in my stash from a previous project, which you can see here, and I wanted to use them again because they are so cute!  For my backgrounds, I created some alcohol inked panels that I trimmed down.

For my first card, I used the “Hooray” pennant.  I hot foiled it on yellow cardstock and I used the prism foil.  I die cut the pennant using the coordinating die, and I die cut the stick in brown cardstock.  I used the Lion, Oh My! dies to create this cute little lion using cardstock from my stash.  Doesn’t the little lion look so dapper and cute?!

For my second card, I used the “Bday” pennant, and I used the polished brass foil.  Again, using the coordinating dies, I die cut the pennant.  I also die cut the stick in coral cardstock.  For this card, I used the Woliver dies to create this cute little walrus.  I added some Nuvo white blizzard to the walrus’ pom poms, and the ice pieces.

To finish off my cards, I attached the background to white A2 sized card bases with fun foam.  I attached the pennants and cute little animals with foam squares.  Then, I added some of the FSJ Starry Night sequins for a little more interest.

If you’re interested, I did film a YT process video featuring a few of the Spellbinders Die D-Lites a while back.  The lion is on there, but the walrus is not.  Here is the link:

Also, if you’re new to the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil system, here is my first YT video explaining how to use it:

I really hope you like my cards, and picked up some inspiration.  I had a blast making them!

3 gift card holders, featuring Spellbinders April 2019 Large Die of the Month

Hi everyone!  Today I’m sharing 3 gift card holders that I created using the Spellbinders April 2019 Large Die of the Month kit.  This kit contains all the dies you need to create a gift back gift card holder…everything from the tassels and the tissue paper.  I plan on giving these as teacher gifts, but they would be great for any occasion!

I also filmed a YouTube process video that might be helpful to see how everything is put together:

For the first gift card holder, I used all the dies (except the tag) to create the gift card holder.  I also added some white flowers and mint colored enamel dots.

For the next gift card holder, I used ribbon instead of the die cut handles.  I used the tag for this one, and I used the Spellbinders Thanks a bunch stamp set to stamp the word “thanks.”  I also die cut a scalloped circle from printer paper to look like a doily.  The die was from the Many Thanks LDOTM kit.  I then added a vellum butterfly sticker.  For the sentiment strip, I used the Glimmer Foil machine, along with the Everyday Sentiments II and the Matte Silver Foil.  I added some pearls for extra interest.

For my last gift card holder, I made 3 tassels with the colors inspired by an alcohol ink project.  The alcohol ink colors I used are Flamingo, Amethyst, and Patina, and I used white yupo paper.

That’s it for me!  I hope you like my projects, and are inspired to create something with these amazing dies.
