A Holiday card & tag, featuring Spellbinders November 2019 GOM

Hello friends!  Today I’m sharing a Holiday card and tag that I created with the November 2019 Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month (GOM), called Shimmering Merry Christmas Sentiments.

This month’s kit comes with 10 Holiday sentiment plates and 2 sentiment strip dies. One die cuts a fish tail/ ribbon cut edge, and the other creates a diagonal cut on both sides. You also get a silver foil roll.

In case you can’t read the greetings, they say:

WARM HOLIDAY GREETINGS, FROM ALL OF US, CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS, SENDING MISTLETOE KISSES, YOU MADE THE NICE LIST, NO PEEKING, MAKING SPIRITS BRIGHT, TWINKLE & SHINE, MERRY CHRISTMAS, and YOU SLEIGH

For my first card, I decided to use the diagonal cut die and die cut pieces of cardstock in the colors pink, light blue, and dark blue. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 die cutting machine. I hot foiled 3 sentiments using the silver foil and red cardstock using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil system. I used the die with the ribbon end to die cut the sentiments.

One a piece of white cardstock, I glued on the cardstock strips, varying the length, then trimming off the excess. Next, I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment strips. To finish off the card, I added some sparkling clear sequins.

I also used one of the sentiment strips that I created, and adhered it to a little deer tag. I made this tag using the November 2019 Large Die of the Month kit (DOM) and add on. I will have a blog post and process video soon, so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, here’s a preview.

I hope you like my card and tag. Don’t forget to check out all the goodies on the Spellbinders website.

Happy Saturday!
