Hey guys! Today, I’m on the Scrapbook Circle blog with a layout documenting our trip to Inner Space Caverns using the October The Weekender kit.
Recently, my younger daughter was looking through an older scrapbook album, and came across a layout I did of the last time we went to Inner Space caverns 6 years ago. She sadly pointed at the picture, and said “Where am I?” I pointed at the baby carrier strapped to my husband, and you can see a tiny bit of her legs poking out. I told her we went there when she was a baby.
Here’s a quick iPhone shot of the layout:
Since then, she has been begging to go to the cave. We finally took a trip out there, and of course I bought the over-priced, low quality souvenir photo. I’m so glad I did though, since they told us to avoid flash photography (because of the bats), and I didn’t get any good photos.
This is why I love scrapbooking. I’m sure the next baby girl will come across the new layout and wonder where she is. Then, I’ll point to my belly in the picture and say that she was growing in my tummy.
Happy Saturday y’all!
Hey guys! I’m officially 37 weeks, and baby girl managed to stay put! Woo hoo!
Today, I have my very first layout for baby girl #3’s album. In all my girls’ albums, I usually start off with an ultrasound layout, and I’m continuing the tradition. For various reasons, I had several ultrasounds during this pregnancy, so I had many pics to choose from!
I just used some supplies that I’ve had in my stash for a while…there’s a bit of Dear Lizzy, some old studio calico, My Mind’s Eye enamel dots, and my favorite Mama Elephant Charmed stamp set. I also used the Crate Paper Little You Girl supplies that I ordered from Butterfly Reflections Ink a while ago when I found out I was having a girl.
I’m so glad I got a chance to make at least one layout before baby girl gets here!
Thanks for stopping by!
P.S. how cute are those Freshly Picked moccasins?! I ordered the light gray pair before I found out the gender of the baby when they had their big sale a while back. I think they’ll be perfect for baby girl though!
My sister-in-law got married over the summer, and my girls got to be her flower girls. They absolutely love to get dressed up, so they were both over the moon for their fluffy white dresses.
Today, I’m on the My Mind’s Eye blog with a flower girls & ring bearers layout featuring their new Yes, please! collection. This collection is absolutely perfect for wedding and love themed layouts!
Stop by the MME blog to see more detailed pics and how I created this layout!
Happy Saturday friends!
Hello crafty friends! Do you guys love snapchat filters as much as me and my girls do? We have been obsessed recently, lol!
Today, I’m on the Scrapbook Circle blog with a fun snapchat layout using the October The Weekender kit. Along with Diana, I am featuring Pink Paislee’s Take Me Away ephemera in 1 product 2 ways.

Hey guys! I just wanted to pop in real quick to share the quilt I made for baby girl #3!
I finally finished it at 35 weeks pregnant! First, I couldn’t decide on a color scheme, then I couldn’t decide on a quilt pattern…so I decided to keep it simple and chose colors I have been loving lately, and chose simple, classic squares.
I go into more detail on quilts in this blog post if you’re interested, as well as photos of a few other quilts I have made.
Here are a few process photos:
I bought the fabric for my quilt from Hobby Lobby and JoAnn fabrics.
I love making baby quilts, and it’s extra special when I get to make one for my own baby! I am super happy with how this quilt turned out!
Happy Monday friends!
Hey guys! I am also on the My Mind’s Eye blog today with 2 cards featuring their new Yes, Please collection. I wanted to show the versatility of this collection, so I made 2 very different cards.
Head over to the MME blog for more pics and info!
Hey friends! I know…it’s Monday. Maybe seeing pictures of my pup will brighten your day. Today I’m on the Scrapbook Circle blog with an Emma layout using the October The Weekender kit! We love our little #dorkie!
This layout was for the take 2 challenge, where we create a layout inspired by another team member. I was so inspired by Jennifer’s layout, I literally scraplifted it! LOL! Stop by the blog to see her layout!
Happy Monday y’all!
