Hello crafty friends!
Today, I have a shaker card and a gift tag to share with you! I’m participating in the Lawnscaping Challenge: COLOR inspired by the rainbow. I’m using the mini stamp set by Lawn Fawn called Year Two. This set is very affordable ($3.99), and by repeating the image, you have enough content for a full card! Supplies will be listed at the end of my post.
Here’s what I came up with:
Here is a closer look of the shaker card:
The back ground is water colored and I embossed the sentiment for a little extra shine & texture using versa fine onyx black ink and clear embossing powder. This is actually my second time at this card. Here’s a helpful tip for you crafters: make sure you don’t have inky fingers, especially when dealing with white card stock. {sigh} I had finished my card, picked it up to photograph, and got black ink smudges all over the white frame. I don’t know where I picked up ink on my fingers…maybe there was some Versafine left on my acrylic block & I picked it up while tidying up? The sad part is that I managed to get a few tiny smudges on this new card as well. Butter fingers!!! I originally wanted to use my favorite sparkling clear sequins on the outside, but I switched to the gold tones to strategically cover up 2 small black ink smudges. You’d never know! Whew!
…and now, here is a closer look of the gift tag:

Sorry, I don’t know if my last post went through. My internet timed out on me. But I love your card! That cute rainbow stack of turtles is darling. And I love the shaker element. Unfortunately you need to use our challenge badge in your post to be eligible to win. But thanks for playing with us at Lawnscaping!
